This exhibition was held from the 8th of January to the 14th of February, 2007. The venue was in KLCC, Pusat Konvensyen, Dewan Pameran 1. It was put together by the institute for History of Arabic-Islamic Science: Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.

On the 6th of February, 2007, the Form 4 and Form 5 students of Sri Cempaka Cheras had a field trip to the convention. At 10 a.m. on that Tuesday morning, the students of Form 4 and Form 5 gathered at the parking lot in the school grounds. The total number may have been well over 120 students. We were accompanied by most of both form's teachers, which would make it about 10 teachers. At 10.25 am, we left the school in two buses and a school van.

The journey took about half an hour, more or less. Once there the students were split into groups of three, and told to collect information on certain historical items featured at the exhibition. The groups would have to then compile the information to form reports for their teachers. The students were given about two hours.

The exhibition hall used was roughly the size of a football field, filled with different aspects of technological advancements. Display upon display of models and explanation screens rounded the hall. In one corner there was a small booth that had a video about the history of Islamic devices.

More or less, we left the exhibition about 1:15 pm, and went to have lunch. At 1:50 pm we left KLCC for school, and arrived back in the school campus at 2:45 pm. All in all it was a very educational experience.
