‘ASEAN: We Are The World’
The Interact Club of Cempaka International School Damansara Heights organised an ASEAN-themed International Understanding Day: We Are The World showcasing the diverse heritage of the 10 ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Member countries through songs, dances, fashion show, food bazaar, and traditional games.
The theme is very timely because of Malaysia’s role as this year’s host of the 26th ASEAN Summit. ASEAN is composed of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
