Cempaka Schools Malaysia holds Art Carnival 2015

Cempaka International School Art Carnival

“Anybody can look at a pretty girl and see a pretty girl. An artist can look at a pretty girl and see the old woman she will become and a great artist can look at an old woman and see the pretty girl that she used to be,” declares YBhg. Dato’ Abdul Rahman Sallehudin, a Cempaka parent and one of the pioneers in the animated film industry in Malaysia during his opening speech as the guest of honor at the launch of Cempaka Art Carnival 2015.

Dato’ Rahman also stressed that ‘art encourages thinking. Because art encourages observation, rewards exploration and defines expression…art is not simply a subject to be taught for grades but a key component for a student’s road to self-discovery and how they view the world around them, all of which is important in forming the minds of tomorrows leaders.’
