National Trips
Local field trips, educational visits and expeditions are organised from time to time to supplement the curriculum, community service or general aims of the school.

International Trips
A variety of trips overseas occur on a regular basis for a variety of reasons.  All Cempaka trips have the underlying aim of developing a wider understanding and appreciation of other cultures and customs. Sporting teams regularly compete in international tournaments. Overseas teams are welcomed to Cempaka for competitions and tours overseas have included destinations such as Spain,

Immersion  Programme Abroad (IPA)
The students shall spend an extended period immersed in a foreign culture. They currently have a choice of spending it in China or France, largely depending on their language elective.

Co-curricular Activities (CCA)
CCA is an integral part of the school curriculum where all students are challenged through the participation in the various programmes to cultivate the spirit of leadership, competition, cooperation, collaboration and teamwork
