Entry into the School is by competitive entrance examinations and interview.

Applications into Form 1 may be strengthened by the results of the Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) or equivalent.

For entry into Form 4, pre-requisites for acceptance are as follows:
- At least 4 A’s in the PMR (Penilaian Menengah Rendah) for entry into the Commerce Stream.
- At least 5A’s in the PMR (Penilaian Menengah Rendah) which include Mathematics & Science)for entry into the Science Stream.

(However, acceptance into the School is still subject to interview and availability of places).

Admission Procedures

i. Registration

Complete the Entrance Examination Application Form and Registration Form (download here). 

Kindly enclosed the following documents :
- ONE passport-sized photograph
- ONE copy of your child birth certificate and myKad / passport (non-Malaysian)
- Copies of your child's most recent school report

ii. Payment 

All applications will only be processed after payment of RM11,000 (National Stream) or RM16,000 (International Stream) has been made. All fees should be made payable to
Cempaka Schools (1983) Sdn.Bhd.

iii. Entrance Examination & Interview

Select your prefer day for your child to sit for the Entrance Examination. Entrance Examination is available on a weekly basis, every Tuesday and Thursday at 9.00 a.m. All students will be required to sit for both English and Mathematics papers. However, an additional subject will be Bahasa Melayu (National Stream) and Science (International Stream) followed by an Interview on the same day.

iv. Offer Letter / Rejection Letter

Results will be released within THREE working days to a weeks. We will notify parents in writing whether your child application is successful or otherwise. 

Unsuccessful application : 
a) Rejection Letter
b) Refund of  Registration and Advance Fee which you have paid upon application, Please allow TWO weeks for the account department to prepare for the refund.

Successful application :
a) Offer Letter (either a Firm or Conditional offer)
b) To make the balance payment before the due date as stated in the offer letter.
c) You will be given the username and password. Kindly log in  to compete all the required forms online (eg.health form, choice of instrument form, record of Achievement book, locker form, smart card etc.)
d) To make the arrangement to purchase books, uniforms and macbook (ONLY applicable for Secondary School) at the School Mart
