This is the life story of the talented author, Mawi Asgedom, who started out his life journey during the civil war in east Africa, to a refugee camp in Sudan, to involving himself in childhood welfare activities in an affluent American suburb, and eventually obtaining a full-tuition scholarship at Harvard University.
