Speedy Gonzalez is a cartoon show about the fastest mouse in all Mexico. This show is an animated cartoon mouse from the Warner Brother Looney Tunes.

Speedy's major traits are his ability to run very fast and his comedic Mexican accent. He usually wears an oversized yellow sombrero, a white shirt and trousers and a red ascot. What makes people interested in him are his funny ways of telling jokes and he's a character that keeps you laughing.

The early Speedy was a meaner, skinnier, rattier-looking creation with a sizable gold front tooth. It would be two years before Friz Freleng and Hawley Pratt redesigned the character into Speedy Gonzales. The cartoon also won an academy award for best short story.

Besides that, the animation directors set up a nemesis for Speedy called Sylvester. Sylvester is this cat that would always get outsmarted and outrun by the mouse causing the cat to suffer many forms of pain and humiliation which I think is what the audience looks forward to the most.

Speedy is also paired with quite a number of characters introduced in the show such as Slowpoke Rodriguez which is supposed to be the slowest mouse in all of Mexico. After all the different characters and nemesis paired up with Speedy, the main director finally chose a main nemesis that goes by the name of Daffy Duck.
