School is something we face every five days of the week. There are those who are thankful for the weekends, thankful to be spared the work and terror teachers give them. Then again, there are those who enjoy school, and I am proud to be one of those people. School is important in our lives. Without school, we would not learn many things.

Teachers do not give us work for fun. They give it to us so we can nourish our mind. Education is very important in life. Without education, you probably would not get a good, successful job. Some may think that school is a waste of time, and a waste of energy. Yet, without the education we gain from school, we would not know many, many things we need to know. We would not know how to add, and subtract numbers and count the change correctly when we go shopping. I enjoy learning new things at school.

In school, we interact with many other kinds of people. We meet people of different kinds. We get to learn about other cultures and spend time with people beyond our own race and religion. Our lives would then be filled with the types of people we never knew about before, people of different nationalities and such. We would gain plentiful knowledge about the ways and traditions as well as other religions.

When we are at school, we make many friends. Our friends are always there to help us with our problems and teach us new things. Friends help us to accomplish things quicker. Besides that, friends also help us to understand the meaning of teamwork and not to be selfish. They help us to be brave, to be bold and try new things.

School is something I enjoy because everyday, I get to see my friends and I get to increase my knowledge. I think everyone should enjoy school like I do, and should be thankful that we are even fortunate enough to go to school.
