But that's another story, again!

Contrary to popular believes, Harith Iskandar's latest show is not a stand up comedy.  Yes, you read it right.  It is not a stand up comedy.  In fact, it was all very serious.  Really. At least, that was how the critically acclaimed comedian described his show.  But then again, this is all coming from a man who has been doing stand up comedy for the past 15 years, so as you can expect the show was not at all what he had described it to be.  Not even close actually as the show was in fact, nothing but barrels of laughter.

Accompanied by a single pianist to play the "soundtrack" of his life, Harith kept the audience entertained with stories about his love life (or lack thereof), fanatic Singaporean Michael Jackson fans, karaoke music videos, his take on Malaysian CSI and of course, the expected few digs at well, us, Malaysians.  Harith Iskandar's "But that's another story" was first held at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Center (KLPAC)  in July 2005 but due to requests from the audience, Harith came back with the second run of this performance.  If you did not catch his performance at KLPAC, do not fret, you did not miss much.

The performance at BSC was, as he said, "Same jokes as last time-lah.  Just a smaller stage." The whole night was nothing but simple, mindless fun.  Maybe, it was the company I was with or maybe, it was simply the way he managed to connect with the audience but it was definitely a show worth going for.  The performance once again proved why Harith Iskandar is deservedly one of Malaysia's most celebrated comedians.

"..But that's another story..again" has ended its run at the Actors Studio @ BSC but judging by the overwhelming response, it would not be long before his next 'that's another story again... again."
