The world has many new technologies. It is building up and new items are invented like a flash of lightning. One of the many technologies are Ipods. Ipods are Mp3 players, which allow us to play music and other many interesting activities are featured in an iPod. iPod were introduced by Apple Technologies. There are many various kinds of iPods; Ipod minis, iPod videos, iPod nanos, and iPod shuffle.

"An iPod is cool for a teenage generation right now, but come on I got to admit its kind of irritating for me! I can only download music if I have the program iTunes."stated Stephanie Seow. "But it's very functional so I don't really regret buying it."

The standard Ipod can hold up to about 15,000 to 25,000 songs. It's also in coloured screen and you would be able to watch movies and videos. It's almost like a portable TV but even better ! It comes also in two colours black and white.

But that's not all Apple came up with. The other Ipods are yet to come. For Ipod minis Sean Soon said:

"It's kind of pricey for a small thing, but I reckon iPod videos are much more functional and definitely cooler!"

These Ipods actually depend on what other people think of it. An Ipod nano, its so flimsy and fragile you sometimes get to cautious when playing around with it, and its impossibly small but that tiny thing can store about 1,000 songs, has a colour display and a battery that lasts for 14 hours. But an Ipod shuffle, its small but I think that its less useful compared to the others.

But to maintain an iPod is hard. Once you have an Ipod, you would have to spend more on their special cases called skins, their armbands or some other extras like a camera connector, radio remote and digital speakers. Even though it's not necessary to have them but you would definitely want to own a complete set and these items don't come CHEAP! These items at least range from Rm60 to Rm1000, or probably even more.

Whether people like iPods or not, it really depends on the persons needs. Some teenagers might find it a pest, because you constantly have to look after it and be very careful, but half the population would think that its totally cool and a MUST have in life.

I think that if I own an Ipod it would be but I think it's too expensive! Even though I don't own an Ipod, I researched from the internet and questioned my friends about it. Hopefully one day I'll get an Ipod of my very own!
